
a) Damaged pulley.
b) Damaged drive shaft.
c) Damaged bearing.
d) Damaged fan.
e) One or both sections of the auger is bent.
a) Replace pulley.
b) Replace drive shaft.
c) Replace bearing.
d) Dismount & repair or replace fan.
e) Replace one or both sections of auger.
Shear bolts are probably broken.
a) The belts are damaged or snapped.
b) Damaged drive shaft.
a) Check & replace damaged belts.
b) Replace drive shaft.
Snowblower was engaged when already blocked.
Make sure auger & fan are not blocked or frozen before engaging snowblower.
a) Diret or ice may be underneath chute.
b) The base of the chute may be damaged or bent.
c) Dirt in the oil.
a) Clean the base of chute & the rotation ring. Lubricate chute inside & out.
b) Replace defective parts.
c) Replace hydraulic oil.
a) Tractor engine turning too slowly.
b) Advancing too quickly with tractor.
a) Run engine at full throttle while snowblowing.
b) Allow snowblower to ingest snow at its own speed.
Ground is not frozen or too soft.
Adjust skid shoes lower so they may better support the snowblower. If problem persists, change skid shoes for heavy duty skid shoes (option #700243) which cover more surface and prevents snowblower from digging into the ground.
Tire pressure uneven from one side to another.
Verify and adjust tire pressure:
Front tires: 14 to 15 psi / Rear tires 7 to 8 psi.
a) Dirt in the oil.
b) Damaged bushing.
a) Change the hydraulic oil.
b) Replace the bushing.
a) Motor overheating.
b) Motor and connector terminals are oxidized.
a) These motors are equipped with and internal protector. Wait 10 minutes before using.
b) Clean the terminals inside the connector and the motor terminals.
