#01 - Electric motor does not work.

POSSIBLE CAUSES :

Overheating of the motor.


CORRECTIVE ACTIONS :

These motors are equipped with an internal protector. Wait 10 minutes before using.

#02 - The engine does not start.

POSSIBLE CAUSES :

a) The emercency button is pushed down.

b) Other reasons.


CORRECTIVE ACTIONS :

a) The emergency button must be pulled up to start the engine of the rotary tiller.

b) See the engine's owner's manual.

#03 - Belt showing premature wear.

POSSIBLE CAUSES :

Spring stretched.


CORRECTIVE ACTIONS :

Check spring. Replace if stretched.

#04 - Belt is worn at a specific point.

POSSIBLE CAUSES :

a) Rotary tiller was engaged when the tines were blocked with debris.

b) Lack of tension on belt.


CORRECTIVE ACTIONS :

a) Make sure the tines are not blocked with debris before engaging rotary tiller.

b) Replace the tension spring if it has lost its efficiency.

#05 - Rotary tiller is noisy or bouncing at the front of the vehicle.

POSSIBLE CAUSES :

a) Tines are damaged or too many rocks.

b) Turnbuckles are loose.


CORRECTIVE ACTIONS :

a) replace bent or damaged tines. Remove any rocks from tilling area.

b) Tighten the turn buckles.

#06 - Tiller operates irregularly.

POSSIBLE CAUSES :

a) Belts are loose.

b) Belts are damaged.

c) A group of tines may be packed up.


CORRECTIVE ACTIONS :

a)Tighten belts.

b) Replace belts.

c) Remove any debris from the tines.

Always till at a slow steady speed. Make more than one pass. Start by a shallow pass then gradually deeper. Replace damaged or bent tines.

#07 - Tiller will not turn.

POSSIBLE CAUSES :

a) Belt is damaged.

b) Belt is broken.


CORRECTIVE ACTIONS :

a) Replace the belt.

b) Replace the belt.
